As my business is growing, I realize that my favorite thing to shoot is food. I always knew I loved to eat it, but it never occurred to me that I could make money shooting it. It all started with an exchange of cupcakes in a random Starbucks, with a strange lady I met online. That lady is now one of my best friend, my favorite client (she has a serious edge – she gives me cakes), and a constant inspiration and motivation to take my business further. I would like to introduce you to Betsy, from Javacupcake.com.

And yes, this picture was shot by me, despite the fact that I don’t usually “shoot people”. There is just no saying no to Betsy 😉

Over the last year, she has fed me countless cupcakes, pies, cakes; she had introduced me to a gazillion people in Washington D.C.; she had me shoot headshots, events, record videos; but most of all, she just makes me laugh. Like everyday. 🙂
